The long awaited return to the pitch for the OTFC 3’s came at home to Wandsworth 5’s. The rain was falling and the pitch resembled a muddy slip n slide.

The game started perfectly for the home side, a 25 yard free kick dispatched into the top corner by the returning Rob Palmer. The rest of the second half didn’t go as well for the Tiffs, 3 well taken goals meant they came in at half time 1-3.

The second half, saw the pitch get muddier and Wandsworth grow in confidence. Shots rained down on Tom ‘Trousers’ Leggat goal, and despite his superman act and some incredible saves, Wandsworth got the score to 1-7. A late and deserved consolation goal from Captain Ash reducing the score line to 2-7.

The 3’s go again next week against Clissold Park Rangers.
